* The increased inventory space upgrade is more useful than it first appeas to be. If you don't have the party slot from challenge points, that increaes the value of the pet stone party slot, but either way you should still have a lot of pets in general before you consider this. * The third dungeon party slot looks very good, but obviously don't even consider it unless you already have at least most, and maybe even _all_ pets. They fill a slightly different role than phoenix feathers. Related, while I haven't bought any elixrs, I can imagine occassionally buying them in the dungeon late game for that extra bit of assurance to keep item drops on long overnight runs. Whereas if you're unsure and don't want to lose item drops from that 12 hour overnight run, yes toss in some of these to help out. If you know you can beat a dungeon, don't bother with these, as they'll be used up for no benefit. An occassional pet death isn't a big deal, and the events that flying boots stop will only rarely make the difference between success and failure. In particular the melting bomb is almost a requirement if you're going to be doing Scrapyard runs over an hour, but don't feel the need to casually throw these consumables around or always include them. They're not terribly expensive, and they make it a lot easier to survive longer dungeon runs so I can keep item drops instead of dying and getting only xp. * Phoenix feathers, melting bombs, and flying boots are all very good "occassional" purchaes. Hermit Crab is an easily evolved water pet with a blacksmith bonus, so it's covering multiple bases at once. The "easiest" non-token water pet is Snake which requires P Baal 30, water pets in general tend to have very high evolve requirements, and there are no easy-to-get pets with a bonus to blacksmith.

I'm not going to give a full priority list here, but if you happen to want to buy a pet specifically for dungeons, I'd consider Hermit Crab. They are nice to have yes, but if you already have 4 slots and ICU, it might be time to start getting a couple higher end token pets before buying the 5th and 6th slots. After 4, there are extreme diminishing returns on further crystal slots. Improved crystal upgrades is also very helpful, though I'd suggest upgrading to at least 3 and maybe 4 crystal slots before getting it. Going from 2 to 3 crystal slots is going to benefit you more than marginally more succesfull dungeons run will.

Sure, if you're succesfully running dungeons by all means buy small cheap purchases lower on the priotiy list to hep, but pet dungeons are kind of a long term game, and you have to already have a lot of pets to be very succesful at it. * After that, I'd prioritize crystal upgrades as the next "big" purchase. * (I would suggest fridge as the next most valuable thing, but according to chat it requires 1000 nevemelting ice now, so that's not really an option.) High starting growth, and +100% to growth campaigns. * Robot is probably still the "best" purchase. > So how does everyone else rate the various big Pet Stone buys now?
